David Garrett
Open Air Tour 2026
Millennium Symphony

19 August 2026
Only concert in Austria in 2026: David Garrett comes to the Seebühne Mörbisch in August

David Garrett has repeatedly enchanted the music world with his brilliant violin variations. Over the more than three decades of his meteoric career, he has thrilled millions of fans with masterful classical interpretations and as a unique crossover performer who blurred the lines between classical and popular music, opening up new dimensions. Another exciting chapter in David Garrett’s career began with the release of his album Millennium Symphony, which transforms the top hits of the past 25 years into striking soundscapes. Following a sold-out arena tour in 2025, which took him with his band and orchestra to Germany and Austria, the artist continues his success story with his band and will perform live in some of the most beautiful open-air venues in summer 2026. His only concert in Austria will take place at the Seebühne Mörbisch!

David Garrett has already released 17 albums, achieving 18 top-ten chart positions in Europe and the USA alone. While five consecutive classical albums reached number one, he also achieved this feat with the crossover bestseller Rock Symphonies.

More than five million CDs and 5.6 billion streams worldwide testify to David Garrett’s international popularity, with his recordings earning 14 platinum and 32 gold awards. Around the world, over four million fans have celebrated him at roughly 1,600 live concerts. Creativity and versatility have made the violin virtuoso one of the most successful solo artists ever, effortlessly moving between the most prestigious concert halls and the largest arenas.

David Garrett sees Millennium Symphony as his personal “crossover evolution.” Like few others, the violinist and composer embodies the fusion of symphonic sounds and popular music, perfectly expressed in his Millennium Symphony. Here, David Garrett reinterprets the greatest pop songs of the past 25 years, including mega-hits by Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, David Guetta, Avicii, Beyoncé, and Harry Styles. The live staging of these songs on a grand scale is highly anticipated.

Program and cast

Seebühne Mörbisch - Mörbisch Am See

The lake stage is embedded within the “Neusiedlersee National Park”, at the edge of the Hungarian lowlands, where the landscape appears graceful and endless, and shows off its unique flora and fauna – truly a jewel of nature.

The stands have space for 6200 visitors, but no matter which row you select, all festival guests have an excellent view not only of the action on the stage but also of the Hungarian landscape.

The stands are surrounded by speakers mounted at a height of 8 - 14 m, which use world-class sound technology to impart spatial information using a special simulation system: if the singer moves, his voice appears to move with him, making the auditory signal comparable with that in an enclosed room.
