Gert Steinbäcker – The first S of STS is back on stage!
Special guests Andy Baum & Christian Becker will be joining us!
Gert Steinbäcker is one of the most influential voices in Austrian music history. As a singer-songwriter, musician, and artist, he tells authentic stories that make his music timeless and deeply moving. With his 2022 album "44," he once again demonstrates his creative potential. For this project, he enlisted the crème de la crème of the Austrian music scene – including EAV on "Roll over Bethlehem" and Wolfgang Ambros, Georg Danzer, and Ostbahn Kurti on "Alt und Jung."
On July 10, 2026, Steinbäcker will bring his unmistakable live energy to Grafenegg. The beautiful open-air setting of the Wolkenturm lends songs like "Grossvater" and "Die Sunn über'n Meer" a very special magic.

Grafenegg Festival, Austria
The Grafenegg Music Festival is a new major international Austrian festival for classical music close to Vienna. The annual festival takes place on the grounds of Grafenegg Castle. Two major venues have been built for the festival in the park of the castle: The open-air stage Wolkenturm (capacity 1,730, opened 2007) as well as the new concert hall Auditorium (capacity 1,372, opened 2008).
The artistic director is pianist Rudolf Buchbinder. The festival's program consists of symphonic and chamber music as well as recitals. International guest orchestras are performing as well as the Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra, which serves as orchestra in residence. The first festival started on August, 23rd, 2007 and lasted until September, 9th, 2007.
