The challenge? Nothing less than a miracle, renewed passage after passage: striking the right balance between poetry and music, and between voice and piano - because, in addition to ten singers, the Académie's Voice Residency is also hosting three pianists/vocal coaches. Together, they will be exploring the subtleties of the song-piano partnership. This programme, dedicated to the lied, is testimony to the work accomplished under the guidance of German soprano Dorothea Röschmann, who has been brought in by the Académie this year to accompany the young musicians in their interpretation of a repertoire that is particularly dear to her.

Auditorium Campra, Conservatoire Darius Milhaud
The Darius Milhaud Conservatoire (CRR) lies at the very heart of the Aix cultural centre. It was designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and inaugurated in 2013. His Campra auditorium, crafted mainly out of wood, boasts a 240 m² stage and can accommodate an audience of 500 people.
