A renowned interpreter of contemporary music, French pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard is ideally suited to guide composers and instrumentalists together on the path to creation. Under his mentorship, the Instrumental Residency is hosting four pianists and four composers, so that the programme of the concert, a reflection and culmination of their joint work, will consist of a bouquet of piano creations premiered for the Aix audience.

Auditorium Campra, Conservatoire Darius Milhaud
The Darius Milhaud Conservatoire (CRR) lies at the very heart of the Aix cultural centre. It was designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and inaugurated in 2013. His Campra auditorium, crafted mainly out of wood, boasts a 240 m² stage and can accommodate an audience of 500 people.
