Gernot & Stipsits at the Seebühne Mörbisch
Here’s a perfect match. Two master comedians, two passionate musicians, two crowd favorites, two exceptional performers, and above all, two friends. Thomas Stipsits and Viktor Gernot are finally sharing the stage with their cabaret program Lotterbuben!
Over the past decades, they have impressively proven that, both as soloists and as team players, they are fixed stars of the Austrian entertainment scene. As Lotterbuben, they will bring characters to life with playful energy, humor, storytelling, and curiosity, sing songs, play guitar, and parody. They will take their audience on a journey through the reflections and perceptions of two Austrian cabaret greats.
A look at our world full of irony and satire, between love for humanity and astonished disbelief. And all of this with the expertise of two seasoned men, representing almost two generations: Generation X meets a Millennial. The old white man meets the forty-something. An old jazz musician meets an Austropop singer. The childless man meets a father of two.
And always underlying it all is that behind these seemingly serious and undoubtedly credible protagonists, two mischievous rascals are hiding. Rarely malicious and always with a wink, these rascals, these scamps, these Lotterbuben, play and sing their way through their first joint program. Enjoy!
Program and cast
Seebühne Mörbisch - Mörbisch Am See
The lake stage is embedded within the “Neusiedlersee National Park”, at the edge of the Hungarian lowlands, where the landscape appears graceful and endless, and shows off its unique flora and fauna – truly a jewel of nature.
The stands have space for 6200 visitors, but no matter which row you select, all festival guests have an excellent view not only of the action on the stage but also of the Hungarian landscape.
The stands are surrounded by speakers mounted at a height of 8 - 14 m, which use world-class sound technology to impart spatial information using a special simulation system: if the singer moves, his voice appears to move with him, making the auditory signal comparable with that in an enclosed room.

To make your journey to and from the Seefestspiele Mörbisch as pleasant as possible, and to prevent potential traffic jams at St. Margarethen, we recommend using the following routes:
TRAVELLING FROM VIENNA:
OPTION 1
Vienna via A2/A3 to Eisenstadt - Eisenstadt Ost exit- B50 direction Neusiedl am See - in Schützen am Gebirge turn right towards Oggau - Rust - Mörbisch.
OPTION 2
Wien via A4 - Neusiedl / See exit (Seefestspiele Mörbisch signposted) - Jois - Winden - Breitenbrunn - Purbach - after Donnerskirchen left towards Oggau - Rust - Mörbisch
TRAVELLING FROM GRAZ VIA A2 DIRECTION VIENNA:
Wr. Neustadt exit, via S4 and S3-1 direction Eisenstadt, Eisenstadt Süd exit to Mörbisch (total approx. 180 km)
